Botanika Beauty is much more than a beauty brand. Botanika Beauty is a lifestyle brand that celebrates our rich Latinx culture, heritage, and beauty through a collection of amazing products that are authentic to our roots. Inspired by Botanicas, which are fixtures in the Latinx communities, Botanika links past traditions to the present through proven natural ingredients and award-winning formulas. Botanika Beauty inspires us to honor our inner goddess and reminds us that self-care is self-love.


We want every Latina to discover her inner goddess! Botanika Beauty is hosting a contest for the next faces of the brand. Not one, not two, but three Latinas will be selected as the face of the brand for 2021. Do you have what it takes? 

So often all Latinas are stereotyped into one mold – we are going to debunk those stereotypes! We are looking for amazing women who have embraced their inner and outer beauty and love their natural hair. Kinky, curly, wavy, or straight; from Los Angeles to NYC with roots in Latin America, South America, Mexico, Central America, and of course the Caribbean.

During the year we are going to touch on topics that impact the Latinx community including beauty, colorism, and sexism… Yes, we will talk about hair care and beauty, but we want to talk about race, community, education business, and empowerment.




Passion, Grit, and Enthusiasm are the keys to success for Beauty Entrepreneur, Aisha Ceballos-Crump. Always having a passion for the beauty industry, Aisha studied chemical engineering at Purdue University. Upon graduation, Aisha went to work in engineering and sales and it didn’t take long before her passion for beauty resurfaced and took center stage. After a failed attempt at reality TV, Aisha started her journey in the beauty world.

For the next 16 years, she worked in the hair & skincare industry, developing products, formulas, manufacturing and marketing for several major beauty brands. This experience gave her the expertise necessary to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming an entrepreneur.

Finally in 2016, Aisha stepped out on faith and began working on her own products; one that she had been using on her own multi-cultural family for over a decade. One range that was effective for the entire family to use based on her secret ingredient, honey. Thus, Honey Baby Naturals was born. Honey Baby Naturals became an instant success making Aisha the first Latina to have a natural hair and skin care line in mass retail. This accomplishment was a huge turning point that inspired Aisha to create her next brand, Botanika Beauty. The Latina community was underserved and ignored and Botanika Beauty created a strong voice for the Latinx community. Botanika Beauty launched in 2019 and is now available in Target and Walmart stores.

Of all her accomplishments, Aisha is most proud of the opportunity to represent Latina women in the community, while inspiring others to follow their dreams. In 2020, Aisha and her husband Greg of 19 years along with their three children launched Beauty Loft, a first of its kind beauty brand incubator that aims to help entrepreneurs develop successful brands. She hopes that her success thus far will empower women of color to become bold leaders and pave the way for future generations.


Cesar Rolon Jr has an extensive and versatile background in community affairs, marketing, promotions, event planning and development. As a former radio and television executive, Cesar launched Imagen Marketing Consultants  a boutique agency specializing in experiential and activation marketing over fifteen years ago. 

Cesar currently serves on several boards, which includes the Chicago Public Schools, Dia De La Mujer Latina, Institute of Latin Music, Segundo Ruiz Belvis Cultural Center Chicago, the Puerto Rico Fashion Council and Vive En Forma – Get Fit Live Fit, Illinois Transplant Foundation and the Global Disaster USA organization just to name a few.   Cesar has a huge passion for community and education, which he believes goes hand in hand.



Honey German is a Media Personality and Lifestyle Influencer with a passion for music, beauty, fashion and body positivity. She works at NYC’s Power 105.FM and is a leader in the radio industry and LatinX community.

Honey currently works for iHeart Media / Power 105.1 FM as an On Air Personality, Music Coordinator and Digital Content Manager. She also works as an event host, red carpet correspondent and speaker.

Her positive demeanor, relatability and trend setting style have made Honey a favorite among brands, her social media followers and her radio listeners.

In addition, she dedicates time to mentoring college students via Power 105.1’s internship program and is also a strong advocate for Criminal Justice Reform, Body Positivity and Women’s Rights.


Aideliz Hidalgo Betances is a Puerto Rican woman with Dominican roots, model, actress, and director of the youth-aimed community project “Passarella by Aideliz,” and coach of refinement and modeling for the “The Best 50’s & More,” a community project centered on the style and fashion aspects of mature womanhood. Aideliz has spent the past five years incentivizing the self-esteem of low-income girls in Puerto Rico and the development of talents of women fifty years of age or older.  Both projects are now four years old and operating at full capacity.
She is the first Black woman to represent Puerto Rico in the Miss International 2011 pageant held in China, placing among the twelve semi-finalists among more than 120 representatives. In 2012 she won the title of Miss Exclusive of the World Princess, held in Turkey, and was Second finalist of the Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2010 beauty pageant, where she earned the “Best Gateway and Best Physical Condition awards.”  In 2007 she participated in the National “Nuestra Belleza Latina” beauty and talent competition of Univision.



• To enter you must be of Latin descent.

• Must speak Spanish. 

• Must be 21 or older. 

• Reside in the United States, Including PR

• Have a social media presence and be confident in creating content for your platform and for the brands platform.

• Have the ability to travel if needed and participate in virtual events.


The three selected Botanika Beauties will not only be the faces of the brand, but the three winners will each receive a 9-month paid $10K contract with Botanika Beauty and the opportunity to showcase your talent as a content creator, model, and Latinx Beauty.
Our Botanika Beauties will have the opportunity to engage with the Latinx community 
through Botanika sponsored live and virtual events designed to uplift and empower our community.
